Some of My Thoughts
Tuning, Pianos tuned and serviced on a regular basis are easier to tune and can be done in less time. Pianos need a little more service the longer they remain untuned Generally, regardless of how long the piano has not had service, all the tuning work can be done in one visit.

It is important to note that, poor regulation, old strings, and other mechanical problems can effect the piano's ability to be tuned properly. If we find this situation, we will inform you as we encounter it, so that you can make a decision that is best for you.

I will take the time to inform you of any relevant items regarding the piano I feel are important. It is always your decision as to how to proceed, or not.

We are involved in a fair amount of damanding performance work. We are happy to listen and respond to your needs should you require stricter standards. I understand that these conditions are not needed in every piano and we endevour to listen to our customers and bring the best value to you.

Over the years, we have installed a fair amount of new sound boards, repaired many original sound boards and rebuilt many actions using the best parts from top manufacturers. I mention this as I feel it relates directly to an understanding of where certian sounds come from. We bring this experience to every job we do, from basic student tuning to the most demanding of performances. We feel that this experience is true "value added" to our all of work.

Long Distance Service
We are happy to travel to your piano. In certian situations it can save you time and money to have us come. There is an additional fee to cover the extra travel time and expenses. . Our experience with the type comprehensive restoration we do, coupled with our extensive performance history, we can solve the more complex and difficult tone and action regulation issues. Finally, rergarding long distance service, I believe that "routine service" is best done by a qualified local person. They are local, more available and usually on shorter notice.
