UNDER CONSTRUCTION
I am showing some of the fixtures we have in an effort to convey some of how we have increased efficiency and accuracy. The result is better work in less time as well as the ability to adapt to a wider range of needs more quickly
This station is for hammer duplication. We do all our own duplication.

Hammers are chosen for sound, feel to the pianist and to the weight the action was designed for.

There are several high quality hammer makers. This allows us to work with all of them accurately.

Here the hammers have the hole drilled, the sides tapered and the tail shaped. Dust collection is on all tools.
This is a pnuematic sound board press I built in 1990. It is the next major fixture I will rebuild.

Each of the cauls are curved and the ribs are glued to the sound board in that curved position. Also, I pre crown the rib before glueing.

This fixture replaces the bulky "go bar" deck used historically.
This fixture's only function is to glue the bridges to the sound board. On it is a sound board to a Steinway B, 7' grand piano.
More to come ...
